ORIC research governance is guided by the following policy areas:

1. Intellectual Property (IP) Policy

Ownership and protection framework for inventions, software, and creative outputs developed at BGNU.
Capacity-building sessions on IP rights, disclosures, and responsible commercialization practices.
Support for patent search, filing, and registration procedures.
Transparent benefit-sharing model between researchers and the institution for commercialized IP.

2. Research Administration and Management

Lifecycle management of funded projects from award to closure.
Compliance assurance with HEC, donor, and university regulations.
