The Higher Education Commission anticipates that Higher Education Institutions will work toward achieving excellence through continuous improvements in quality and effectiveness. In this regard, HEC has taken a significant initiative for performance-based institutional recognition and started with outlining Performance Evaluation Standards for HEIs.
Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) comes under the purview of HEC, whereas this process is informed by IQA practices carried out by HEIs through adoption of the University Quality Standards and Assessment Model.
The result of the University Quality Standards and Assessment Model thus corresponds to the process of Performance Evaluation Standards.
By achieving these objectives, QECs contribute to the overall growth and reputation of the university.
